That quote has a chilling effect on me right now. The tragic natural disaster that occurred in Haiti is one of those horrific events that seems unthinkable but it's not because it actually happened. I have seen the pictures, video footage and read the articles but I still can't imagine what it is really like for the people of Haiti right now. That level of grief and devastation is impossible for me to fathom, but it's brutally real for the victims and survivors.
When a natural disaster of this magnitude occurs a huge amount of fundraising takes place. Telethons, food and clothes drives, benefit concerts...even text donations. Another popular fundraising method is product sale donations. I'm sure there will be quite a few of those. The first I came across was the "Haitian relief b-side RIGHTS" necklace.
From what I have read, it appears to be a worthy cause that is completely legit, however as with any donation make sure you do your research. I have no affiliation with this organization, I'm simply trying to help by informing my readers of the different avenues of giving for this particular cause. The reason I like fundraisers like this is because there are a lot of people who might not regularly donate to charities/causes but will do so if it feels more like shopping.
