gave herself a very precious gift on her 41 years old birthday (August 15, 1967). On the just concluded semifinals of 2008 Beijing Olympics' women's 50-meter freestyle swimming event, Dara Torres qualified as the fastest swimmer with 24.27 seconds for August 17's final, beating Cate Campbell of Australia (24.42) and Britta Steffen of Germany (24.43). We sincerely wish Torres win a gold medal on tomorrow's competition.
