I have never ever been to a auction. Never. I've been tempted a few times but it all just seemed like too much work... Seriously...it just seemed easier to walk into Barney's, pick out something fabulous, pay for it and go to lunch.

However, come September I will be off to auction...



Isabella Blow, fashion icon and McQueen muse, who tragically died a few years ago had an INSANE wardrobe. Quite possibly the best wardrobe on the planet. And it's going to auction. And so am I. How can I resist?! Rumored to be auctioned off: Over 90 of McQueen’s designs, 50 Philip Treacy hats, and a number of Manolo Blahnik shoes. <~OMG!! The auction will take place in London on September 15th. I am sooooooo there.

Although, in my opinion, Uncle Karl has been somewhat of a media whore as of late... it doesn't mean he isn't still brilliant. Vanessa Paradis was photographed by the genius for Madame Figaro Magazine's May 2010 issue and it's quite clear that he sill has that je ne sais quoi. And Mz.Paradis has never looked better...
