The official death toll of China's Sichuan Wenchuan Earthquake on May 12 rose to 41, 353 as of Wednesday noon. And the whole country is still in a three-day mourning. With the people across China and many foreigners overseas sparing no their efforts denoting money, tents and other materials to those affected by the Richer 8.0 earthquake, a 5-minute video showing Liaoning girl Zhang Ya Gao Qianhui cursing out Wenchuan Earthquake victims using the extreme profane words was surfaced. After the video was posted on almost all major Chinese forums/BBS, she is now in hot waters, attracting millions of Chinese netizens blaming her irresponsible behavior. She has been arrested by the police. We respect the freedom of speech, but apparently, we also can not tolerate that Zhang Ya Gao Qianhui gloated over the sufferings of earthquake victims and cursed the injured to be dying soon and those unborn in the quake areas to be gangsters. Update: The Liaoning girl was earlier mis-identified as Zhang Ya by "human flesh search." It turned out that she is Gao Qianhui (高千惠), 21, whose parents were divorced when she was young.

China's Internet users has hit 221 mln and ranked the world's first, Xinhua reported.
The Internet population in China reached 221 million by the end of February, which outnumbered the figure in the United States to rank the first in the world, according to the Ministry of Industry and Information.
The number was 210 million by the end of last year, only 5 million fewer than the U.S. Internet users then, according to the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC).
Despite rapidly increasing Internet population, the proportion of Internet users among the total population was still lower than the global average level, the ministry said, without giving specific figures.
The proportion was 16 percent at the end of 2007, compared with 19.1 percent of the world average, the CNNIC said.

Chris Clark, who is from Maryland's North Potomac, registered the domain name Www.Pizza.com in 1994 and since then maintained it by paying an annual fee of $20. If not this statement on March 1st, I think, a lot of Wikipedia users and fans (including myself) don't even know Jimmy Wales has girlfriend caleed Rachel Marsden.
Over the last few days, a few gossip websites have decided that my personal life is somehow of interest to people and, against my wishes, are publicizing details about a brief relationship I had with Rachel Marsden. While, typically, this would not warrant a response, because my role with Wikipedia is being dragged into it, I felt the need to set the record straight on a couple of issues.
First, while I find it hard to imagine that anyone really cares about my sex life, the facts are: I am separated from my wife. I considered myself single at the time of my one meeting with Rachel Marsden on February 9th, 2008. I am no longer involved with Rachel Marsden. Gossipy stories suggesting that I have been in a relationship with her "since last fall" are completely false.
The second, and far more important, issue is this false notion which is being peddled that I intervened inappropriately to redraft her Wikipedia biography. The facts are that, in Wikipedia, I work closely with a team called "OTRS," which handles email complaints and works hard to address concerns relating to the biographies of living persons. Rachel Marsden first approached me via email two years ago with complaints about her bio. We had never met. I subsequently reviewed her bio and I found it not to be up to our standards. My involvement in cases like this is completely routine, and I am proud of it.
I decided to meet Rachel Marsden in person for the first time in early February of this year. Accordingly, three days before that meeting, to avoid any appearance of a potential conflict of interest, I disclosed my plans to OTRS and further disclosed that it was a personal matter. I recused myself from any further official action with respect to her biography.
I care deeply about the integrity of Wikipedia, and take very seriously my responsibilities as a Member of the Board and as a member of the Wikipedia community. I would never knowingly do anything to compromise that trust.

Women who sign up on MyFreeImplants.com earn the money for their breast augmentation surgery through donations from men who peruse their MySpace-like profiles.
Jason Grunstra, a Web developer in Los Angeles, founded the site in July 2005 after brainstorming the idea during a bachelor party in Las Vegas.
MyFreeImplants.com operates much like a social-networking site. Women 18 and over can sign up for free and create a profile with photos and the type of implant they desire: silicone or saline. Men — they're called "benefactors" — can also sign up for free, but then they must purchase credits, which can be used to send messages to the women.
For each message a woman receives, she gets a dollar toward her new chest.
Grunstra estimates that thousands of women have signed up for the site and tens of thousands of men have contributed.
Lindsay, who declined to give her last name, signed up in February 2007, and by June she had the $4,000 she needed to transform from a 34A to a 34D-DD. She is one of 103 women who have had new implants courtesy of the site's benefactors.
Jessica Levine, a 27-year-old marketer from Tampa, Fla., got her new silicone breasts on Nov. 13, 2007 after raising $7,500 online.

Microsoft Bids Yahoo for $44.6 Billion
In a surprise move, Microsoft, the world's largest software maker, has bid Yahoo, the slumping second most popular internet search engine, for $44.6bn in cash and shares on Friday. According to the letter of Microsoft CEO Steve Baller to Yahoo's Chairman Roy Bostock and CEO Jerry Yang the offer represents a 62 percent premium above the closing price of Yahoo! common stock on Jan. 31, 2008. Apparently, the boldest bid ever by Microsoft is to challenge Google's dominance of the lucrative online search and advertising markets. If Yahoo agrees to Microsoft's proposal, the takeover would possibly take place after regulatory clearance and close in the second half of 2008.
