I spotted this Dashing Diva 3-D Caviar manicure on Refinery 29 and have decided I have to have to have it... No glitter, but fly all the same.



How To Get It/What you'll need:
1. Apply 2 coats of Dashing Diva's Limo Service Polish
2. Apply nail glue all over the nail
3. Dip nails into black seed beads
4. Sprinkle with black glitter
5. Apply and activator spray to adhere

The 2010 Nailympics (Yes. It's a real event) were held this weekend in London as part of The Olympia Beauty Show and I just had to share... because if I had to look at it...so do you.

I like the idea of such an event but some people got super carried away. There are Buicks that aren't as big as some of these nail decorations...

I cannot...

These are actually, although non-functional of course, kinda fly...

Earlier today I noticed some of my favorite beauty bloggers were tweeting about the white nail polish trend... Although it didn't seem like a shade I would like for myself I decided to research it to see if it was something I would recommend for my clients and readers... And for the most part the answer was...NO.

However, I did come across a bottle of the aforementioned polish that I will be ordering...simply for the name itself. BLEACHBLACK, the geniuses behind a favorite polish of mine deliciously titled "Dickweed" has done it again...their contribution to the white nail polish trend is called...wait for it...JIZZ. Yeah, I said JIZZ. I have to have it, simply for the name alone. Yes, I am that juvenile...but whatever...I'm also fucking fabulous so it all evens out. Besides, even though I do not like the look of white polish on finger nails I do think it would make a fabulous shade for a summer pedicure. Available via Need Supply Co.

As a rule...I HATE GROUPIES. Seriously...male or female groupies just make me sick and a little sad. However I realized today that I'm a groupie. No, not for entertainers nor athletes...for other makeup artists. Seriously. I'm a MUA stan. Damn shame... But it is what it is and I am what I am and after seeing Vogue Nippon's Beauty Supplement, makeup artist Kaori Yanagida has a new groupie. This spread is PHENOMENAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The nails, the eyeliner, the lashes...*sigh* The air and accessories are definitely fly also.

Chloe Sevigny, star of HBO's "Big Love" and indie-film goddess, covers Elle UK's April issue and stars in a fab spread between the sheets...looking better than she ever has. I am lovin the winged liner, especially since I have never really seen Chloe sporting obvious makeup other than the occasional bright lipstick. And she has this "sex kitten" vibe in these pix and that definitely isn't her usual style but she wears it well...get em Chloe.



"Big Love's" Amanda Seyfried isn't looking very "mormon" in her uber-sexy spread for Esquire magazine's April issue...but I ain't mad at her. Nope. She looks phenomenal. The lace bodysuit is AMAZING.

Young French lingerie label "Petticoats Tess" Spring 2010 line is so beautiful I may never wear outer-clothes again. Seriously. These pieces are just too gorgeous and sexy to cover up.



Mayor Bloomberg may as well rename West Broadway "Petticoat Junction", because I am about to cause quite a stir on the streets of Gotham walking around in these gorgeous undergarments without any over-garments.



Pants are so over-rated anyway... Right?!

I never took much of a interest in Vera Wang. Her wedding gowns, although not my style, are obviously stunning. However, her RTW lines never really did much for me. In my opinion they bordered on boring and mundane. But at this particular moment I am grateful to her. Her Fall RTW 2010 runway show this week in NYC has reminded me why I love, live and breath fashion...reinvention.



I am a complex (crazy) woman. I have many personalities and moods. Every morning I wake up and decide who and what I am that day and it's the clothes that bring that woman to life. Fashion reinvents me everyday. And it seems Mz.Wang has reinvented her line. It's not that it was breathtakingly spectacular. It was really good, I would wear all of it. But what really won me over is that it was DIFFERENT from her usual...and I appreciate that. Well done Mz. Wang.
