Hugh Hefner, 84, Engaged to Girlfriend Crystal Harris, 24

Hugh Hefner, the 84-year-old Playboy boss, and Crystal Harris, his 24-year-old girlfriend and Playmate, got engaged on Christmas Eve!

Hugh Hefner took to his Twitter page to announce that he had proposed to Crystal Harris on Friday (December 24): "After the movie tonight, Crystal & I exchanged gifts. I gave Crystal a ring. A truly memorable Christmas Eve. When I gave Crystal the ring, she burst into tears. This is the happiest Christmas weekend in memory."

On Sunday (December 26), Hefner added: "Yes, the ring I gave Crystal is an engagement ring. I didn't mean to make a mystery out of it. A very merry Christmas to all."

Hefner and Harris met each other on Halloween in 2008 and began dating in January 2009. It will be the third marriage for the Playboy founder.

In 1949, Hefner wed first wife Mildred Williams with who he had two children, Christie, 58, and David, 55. The pair divorced in 1959. In 1989, he married Playboy Playmate Kimberley Conrad, who gave him two sons, Marston Glenn, 20, and Cooper Bradford, 19. Their divorce was finalized in March this year.

Girl Next Door star Holly Madison and magician Criss Angel have split but remained as friends. Holly Madison and Criss Angel began dating last October after the 29-year-old blonde buxom called it off from Playboy pariah Hugh Hefner.

Having a relationship with Angel who is busy with committing himself to 5 shows a week in Las Vegas means Madison have to stay at the Sin City also.

Apparently, this hinders Madison to develop her own career, so she decided to end the relationship.

"It was a conflict of schedules. She felt she couldn't devote 100 percent of her time in Vegas and his career at the expense of her career and her goals." An insider told to E! News while saying the split is mutual.

Bettie Page Dead: 1950's Pinup Queen Betty Page Died of Pneumonia in Los Angeles

Bettie Page [wikipedia], Pinup Queen of 1950's, has passed away.  She died of pneumonia in a Los Angeles hospital Thursday December 11, 2008. Betty Page was 85 years young.

Bettie Page, one of America's most photographed pin-up girls during the 1950s, died in Los Angeles on Thursday from pneumonia, her agent said. She was 85.

Page was a ubiquitous sight during the 1950s, propelled to stardom when she posed for Playboy as Miss January 1955. Soon her image was gracing playing cards, record albums and bedroom posters across the country.

She stopped modeling in 1957, retreated from the public spotlight and turned to religion. She enjoyed a renaissance of sorts in the 1980s, as a new generation of fans became obsessed with her legacy.

Her agent, Mark Roesler, said Page was admitted to a Los Angeles-area hospital four weeks ago. She never regained consciousness after suffering a heart attack earlier this month.

Bettie Mae Page was born on April 22, 1923, in Nashville, one of six children. She and two sisters were sent to an orphanage after her father went to jail and her mother could not cope on her own. Page later described her father as "a sex fiend" who started sexually molesting her when she was 13.

Page, armed with an arts degree with Peabody College in Nashville, did her first modeling work in the 1940s after moving to San Francisco with the first of her three husbands. After they divorced in 1947, she pursued modeling in New York. Photos from a shoot with Miami photographer Bunny Yeager ended up in the pages of Playboy.

The layout featured Page winking at the camera wearing only a Santa hat as she decorated a Christmas tree. Playboy founder Hugh Hefner described it as "a milestone in the history of the magazine," which he had founded less than two years earlier.

Florida police records show that 19-year-old twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon, who appear to be seeking permanent quarters in the Playboy Mansion, are currently on probation for a battery bust in St. Petersberg.

The sisters were arrested in the early morning hours of Jan. 10 and booked on suspicion of felony aggravated battery, per arrest reports obtained by E! News. They were released from custody after posting $10,000 bonds and were later given probation and ordered to pay restitution for the incident, the details of which have not been determined just yet.

Prior to that run-in with the law, Karissa Shannon was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor battery last November.

No further information about their dual arrests was available.

Recent reports also said two other living-in girlfriends Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt are leaving soon. But the 82-year-young adult magazine mogul apparently is not short of the blonde ladies who are willing to sleep together with him on the same bed.

Karissa and Kristina Shannon, a pair of 19-year-old twins from Tampa, Florida, just came in as the substitute of Holly Madison.

"They [Karissa and Kristina Shannon twins] very much want to be girlfriends and now under the present circumstance, they probably will become my girlfriends.” Hugh Hefner said.

According to BittenandBound.com, the Shannon twins have already been calling to Hefner's Playboy mansion home these days and are using a bathroom Holly Madison used

It's officially over! Holly Madison is Girl Next Door no more. The 28-year-old now former Playboy mansion bunny who recently was romantically linked to magician Criss Angel told before the camera of TMZ photog she and the 82-year-old Hugh Hefner were no longer together on October 6.

Hef and I are not getting married! It would not be a secret if I were engaged to anyone. There is a bad ass wedding coming up in Season 5 of Girls Next Door, but it's not mine! It was our friends' wedding that Bridget planned. I think it was one of the craziest weddings/receptions Vegas has ever seen. I loved the cut I saw of the episode (one of my all time faves) but they could not even show half of the stuff that went on that weekend!

I gotta admit, Bridget and I tried to get married while we were out there for the wedding . . . but you will have to tune in to see how that panned out! lol!

Addendum: Hef and I are not breaking up, either. We are PIC (Partners in Crime, lol, Kendra came up with that one). We are wrapping up Season 5 of the Girls Next Door and are looking forward to filming a Season 6.

Probably, a lot of people are expecting a Hugh Hefner Holly Madison wedding after all the blonde bombshell herself indeed considers also, but to their surprise (if not disappointment), this won't tie the knot anytime soon.

Holly has made it no secret that she wants to wed the Playboy mogul, but Hefner has admitted that he has no plans to get married anytime soon.

"We are no closer to getting married than we were years ago," the Daily Telegraph quoted Holly as saying.

"It’s like a car stalled at the side of the road," she added.
Hefner on the other hand has other thoughts on his mind besides marriage.

"I love Holly very much and I think we’re going to be together the rest of my life. But marriage isn’t part of my puzzle.

"It’s not a personal thing - I just haven’t had much luck with marriages," he said.
