Simon Monjack, 39, the husband of Brittany Murphy, has been found dead at his Hollywood Hills home Sunday night, just five months after the sudden death of the late actress.
FILE. Brittany Murphy's husband Simon Monjack found dead

Brittany's mother, Sharon, discovered Monjack unconscious in the master bedroom around 9:30PM and called 911, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Police spokesman Sgt. Louie Lozano says the preliminary cause of death is “natural causes”, but the investigators are still working at the scene early Monday.

Brittany Murphy married British screenwriter Simon Monjack in 2007. The couple had no children together. She died at 32 after collapsing in their Hollywood home last December 20.

RIP.

I cant stand to see you cry,
Honey you know where the world is at,
Get what you want with your lucky eyes

You turn me on,
You know your turning me, you know your turning me on,
You turn me on,
You know your turning me, you know your turning me on

Better wake up this sleep head,
Big old world will pass us by,
So many things we could do instead,
Get what you want with your lucky eyes

Faster kill faster still pussycat

Those high heels are not your friends,
Honey you know where the world is at,
Come home with me when the party ends

You turn me on,
You know your turning me, you know your turning me on,
You turn me on,
You know your turning me, you know your turning me on,
You turn me on,
You know your turning me, you know your turning me on,
You turn me on,
You know your turning me, you know your turning me on

Pussycat,

Pussycat,

Heaven knows I tried to let you go,
I cant help myself you know I'm out of control,
Heaven knows I tried to let you go,
I cant help myself I think I'm losing control

You turn me on,
You know your turning me, you know your turning me on,
You turn me on,
You know your turning me, you know your turning me on,
You turn me on,
You know your turning me, you know your turning me on,
You turn me on,
You know your turning me, you know your turning me on

-"Faster Kill Pussycat" Paul Oakenfold and Brittany Murphy

Brittany Murphy November 10, 1977 – December 20, 2009 -RIP
When I wrote my previous post about the untimely death of actress/singer Brittany Murphy, I spoke about her single "Faster Kill Pussycat" and was surprised when so many people told me they had no idea Brittany sang. Yes. Brittany Murphy was a singer as well as an actress. Her single with Paul Oakenfold did quite well on the dance charts actually and the video was fab...

She looked amazing...

I have decided to pay tribute to Brittany Murphy not by posting clips of "Clueless" that everyone has seen a million times but by showing you a side of her you may not have seen...

"I've always seen myself as one of those 'show people.' My earliest memories are wanting and needing to entertain people, like a gypsy traveler who goes from place to place, city to city, performing for audiences and reaching people." -Brittany Murphy

I awoke today to the news that actress Brittany Murphy had passed away in Los Angeles at the age of 32. Tragic. Utterly tragic. Famous or civilian, 32 is way too young for anyone to leave this life and their loved ones.

The adorable Brittany has been in so many entertaining movies, including her breakout role as "Tai" in the uber-hit "Clueless", and she had 5 more projects in pre-production, mid-production and post-production at the time of her death due to cardiac arrest.

Besides acting Brittany was also a singer. She released a single "Faster Kill Pussycat" with Paul Oakenfold that hit #1 on the Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play chart. She also sang Queen's "Somebody to Love" and Earth Wind and Fire's "Boogie Wonderland" in the movie "Happy Feet" in which she proivided the voice for the character "Gloria".

The darling talented and accomplished performer is survived by her mother Sharon Murphy, her father Angelo Bertolotti, and her husband Simon Monjack. My condolences go out to her family and friends... Rest In Peace Brittany.
