Bret Michaels Engaged to Kristi Gibson

Bret Michaels and his longtime girlfriend Kristi Gibson are engaged!

After years of being on-and-off, the 47-year-old rock star finally proposed to Kristi, the 39-year-old who is the mother of his two daughters, on the finale of his VH1 reality show, "Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It," Monday night.

Bret got down on one knee and told Kristi, "I love you, and you've been unbelievably a big part of my life, and we have two beautiful girls together. ... I know we love and respect each other, and I hope that we can find that inner love that we have forever. And I want you to be my wife."

"Please say yes, or the rejection will kill me right now", he added.

After Kristi accepted his proposal, the pair went straight to their kids to share the happy news and have a family hug together, "I did it! We'll all be together forever! Family hug!"

Congrats to the happy couple!

Bret Michaels shocked fans when he appeared on American Idol last night for the finale!

The singer, who was crowned the winner of The Celebrity Apprentice just days before, performed the 80s Poison classic "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" with finalist Casey James.

"The doctors, I didn't tell them I was going to do this.” Michaels told Us Magazine, “I never told them I was coming here. They're going to find out in a few minutes!"

Michaels said he didn’t even tell his family he was doing it either!

“Here’s the thing, they have not said everything’s OK. I’m running about 75 percent realistically, physically, but in my soul and my heart, I feel great. I needed to do this tonight, just to come here, ” the 47-year-old rocker explained.

"It’s my first musical performance back and after this, I’m hoping to go out on the road, and I’m really looking forward to it." Michaels added.

Bret Michaels Hospitalized With Brain Hemorrhage

Bret Michaels, the former Poison frontman and Celebrity Apprentice reality star, has been rushed to an LA hospital late Thursday after suffering from a massive brain hemorrhage, People reported.

Bret is currently in critical condition after undergoing CAT scans, MRIs and an angiogram. He was kept in the ICU and further tests are being ran to determine the cause.

Last week, the 47-year-old rocker had undergone an emergency appendectomy after complaining of stomach pains before he was scheduled to perform in San Antonio, Texas.

According to reports, his condition is now stabilized.

Bret Michaels’ new song which featuring Miley Cyrus called Nothing To Lose raised eyebrows when the duet went online Thursday.

Bret Michaels, 46, the former Poison frontman, sings a duet with Miley Cyrus, the 17-year-old Hannah Montana star, about a bitter romance, lyrics such as, "We both know better than this/Tonight in the darkness there's nothing to lose/We both know better than this, still we can't resist/Slowly get undressed."

In the part of chorus, they sing together: "Won't you fall down on me/So close I can feel you breathe/Tonight in the darkness with nothing to lose/If the truth is all we can see/If I fall for you, could you fall for me?"

Miley Cyrus has also reportedly recorded a cover of Poison's hit rock ballad Every Rose Has its Thorn.
